Every day from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. until October 31, Lesia Vasylchenko's video work "Tachyoness" (2022) will be shown on the outdoor screen of the Port Authority (J. Janonio g. 24, Klaipėda).
The title of the video work Tachyoness derives from the tachyon – a hypothetical particle that travels faster than light. Created using artificial intelligence, the piece compiles more than a thousand images of sunrises recorded in Ukraine. These visuals were gathered from archives, social media, VHS tapes, and advertisements, spanning from 1990 to 2022.
